April will bring stable HarmonyOS 3 for Huawei P20 and Mate 10 series
We’re in April and Huawei has now confirmed that the Huawei P20 series and Mate 10 are ready to install stable HarmonyOS 3 software. This rollout comes amid the company’s preparation to test new software for the latest flagship.
Other than Huawei P20 and Mate 10 series, the tech maker has also formed a better future for eight other smartphones and a tablet. This is one of the best approaches for HarmonyOS 3, as it could also be installed on low-end hardware.
Last July, HarmonyOS 3 roadmap announced P20 and Mate 10 series eligibility to upgrade to the new version. This was great news for the device owners. However, the beta activity took some time to reach these devices.
But this year, Huawei completed the promise and finally rewarded the corresponding smartphones with HarmonyOS 3 software update.
HarmonyOS 3 for Huawei P20 series
Aside from Huawei P20 and Mate 10 models, there are other devices from Nova, Enjoy, and MatePad tablet families joining the April 2023 stable HarmonyOS 3 carnival. These are:

Beta Saga
In February, Huawei started enrolling Huawei P20, P20 Pro, Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, and Mate 10 Porsche Design. These old flagships joined HarmonyOS 3 recruitment under closed beta. After a month with limited testers, these devices began the public beta journey, which opened unlimited testing slots.
In April, Huawei P20 owners will install a stable HarmonyOS 3 version and conclude a successful beta run.
HarmonyOS 3 Features
This new software brings a variety of additions to Huawei smartphones and tablets. On the feature side, it installs new smart folders with 3 new layouts to form a large folder, which allows you to organize your home screen apps in a better way.
HarmonyOS 3 is a savior of privacy and ramps up security, therefore, you will see a separate section of the privacy center in the settings. An improved super device will let you connect to more smart platforms with optimized connectivity.
This upgrade will also enable smart options to manage the app widgets with the grouping and stacking features. The UI part of the HarmonyOS 3 improves touch response for on-screen content. Also, there are minor improvements made to animations to provide a brand-new user experience.
