Huawei and Apple rivalry continues as the US tech giant once again poses heavy discounts on its iPhones in China. The latter is making every effort to rise again in the world’s largest smartphone market, amid increasing competition from its opponents.

A new report reveals that Apple has once again lowered the price of iPhones in China on some major online shopping platforms like JD.com and Alibaba’s TMall.

These heavy discounts on Apple iPhones seem a step to fight against the leading brands like Huawei in the Chinese smartphone market. At the same time, the company tries to boost its sluggish product sales in the large smartphone franchise.

Speaking of the new rates, the price drop of 20% (2050 yuan) on the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max 256 storage version makes it available for 7947 yuan ($1100).

Note that the device bears an original price tag of 9999 yuan since its main launch. Yet the company has to take this move to enhance the sale of its flagship devices.

Apple iPhone 15 (128GB) model is priced at 4599 yuan (original rate 5999 yuan). It is worth noting that these discounts will only remain valid from today till May 28. Hence, you can take advantage of this offering, if you are an Apple device lover!

This is not the first time that Apple is trying to chase customers via huge price cuts on its devices. In February this year, the company made the same move with the highest discount of 1150 yuan. But this time, the price reduction reached 2300 yuan.

After a discount campaign, Apple sales slightly improved in March and obtained a 12% hike, as per the source. The company is now expecting the same results.

Huawei pressured Apple and other rivals with the launch of Mate 60 Pro in China. The OEM continued introducing innovative and advanced products one by one. The latest addition is the Pura 70 series, which is currently on every consumer’s lips.

Analysts predicted that Huawei Pura 70 models will make a 10 million unit shipment this year. If true, the tech maker will continue to be at the top of the Chinese smartphone market.
