AppGallery launches service widgets for Huawei HarmonyOS phones

Huawei recently launched AppGallery service widgets for HarmonyOS smartphones, which allows users to simplify the app’s user experience. AppGallery is an app marketplace for Huawei devices, which allows you to download the latest applications and surf through games in different categories.

Users can add the new AppGallery service widgets on their phones using the home screen. For that, pinch inwards on the home screen and then tap on the Service widgets at the bottom. From here, select – “AppGallery”.

The screen will then take you to different size and features variants of AppGallery service widgets including:

1. Top recommendations – Wide
2. Top recommendations – Square
3. AppGallery Guard – Wide
4. AppGallery Guard – Square
5. Must have apps – suggestions
6. Convenience service
7. Recommended service widgets
8. Car owner service

Select a widget and add it to the home screen. Afterward, the widget will be placed on the home layout and you can access the specific features of these widgets accordingly. Similar to other service widgets, you can remove or edit any service widgets.
