AppGallery games download increased by 90% during Huawei Game Fest
Huawei along with 13 other game developers has recently organized its first co-hosted Game Fest. In the event, there was around 12 game market from across the world and it lasted for six weeks.
The Chinese tech giant aims to promote its app distribution platform – AppGallery at this game festival and encourage more of the users to use its own app store to find interactive and productive games. This promotion has helped the company to gain a number of users and more activity on AppGallery.
According to the data, the average daily game downloads from AppGallery have increased by 90%, and more than 600 million digital ad impressions were recorded during the event.
The topmost games of the AppGallery during this time includes State of Survival, Standoff 2, Asphalt 9, Summoner’s War and more
The Global Partnership head of Huawei’s Consumer Business department, Ilya Fedotov mentioned that AppGallery wishes to grow its application market rapidly, providing its users with more choices on board and keeping them up to date.

Huawei AppGallery is the world’s third-largest app market after Play Store and Apple’s app store. This service is available in 170 countries and regions and has grown over time. Currently, it has over 550 million monthly active users globally.
Huawei has partnerships with 4.5 million developers worldwide, and AppGallery has distributed 384.4 billion apps at the end of 2020.
Recently, a gave developer launched the first native HarmonyOS supported game on AppGallery, called Mini World. Huawei is continuously making more of such useful applications available on AppGallery.
