Android 15 QPR2 could let you resize lock screen widgets
Android 15 QPR2 beta could enable users to resize the lock screen widgets. As per a new input, Google is working on a capability that will ease lock screen-related operations for its users. It will be mainly useful for large-screen devices like tablets.
Google brought the lock screen widgets for tablets with the previous Android 15 via the glanceable hub. One can swipe inward from the right edge of the lock screen to access widgets. You can add, remove, or reorder them via the ‘customize’ tab.
While the feature is a significant addition, it limited users to expand the widget as per their requirements. It eventually appeared as an irritating issue to some users.
However, the company will likely fix lock screen widgets with the upcoming Android 15 QPR2 beta update. It’s a boon for Pixel Tablet owners as they will be able to adjust and resize the widgets as per their preference. How? Let’s find out.
Mishaal Rahman – an Android analyst found a feature that lets you resize any widget on the lock screen. Users can see more info on the widgets at a glance. You can check the feature in action HERE.
Note that the feature currently appears laggy at some points. Although Google may improve the respective capability with the approaching Android 15 QPR2 beta update.
Apart from the lock screen widget, Google may also drop some more amazing changes for its Pixel devices in early March with the Android 15 QPR2 stable rollout. Android 16 is also on the way and could soon knock on the doors of eligible devices.
