Google continues to design its new Android 15 OS with better features and one such could be an enhanced ‘Landscape Mode’. The US tech giant aims to make things easier often when you want to work in the horizontal orientation of your smartphone.

Landscape Mode is just the horizontal view of your phone which offers a wider and greater look, instead of keeping the screen sight locked vertically. It is perfect at times when you are watching your favorite videos or playing racing/shooting games.

Mishaal Rahman spotted that Android 15 will give a new makeover to the lock screen as well as a notification panel for a better and more convenient look under the landscape mode. Let’s learn about these segments in more detail.

Notification Panel:

With Android 15’s landscape feature, the notification panel appears quite organized. Brightness Slider, four quick settings tiles with a 2 x 2 layout, and other features will appear on the left side of the screen while alerts will show up on the right side.

Lock Screen:

The new landscape mode will make your phone’s lock screen similar to the one for tablets. New notifications will appear on one side whereas, the time, date, and temperature details on the other. Overall, giving a clear outlook on the phone’s lock screen.

Unlocking the device interface may also appear in a clean layout with PIN code entry on one side and the number keypad on the other. Although a few issues persist for the media player, but they might be resolved in the upcoming days.
