Google is implementing new accessibility features for Android 15 and one of them could be the Bluetooth LE support. The company also has some other beneficial functionalities that could help those smartphone users dealing with hearing problems.

Android 15 could be helpful for those who opt for a hearing aid. These are tiny devices that help people with hearing issues. To make these hearing aids even more useful, Google is now bringing better accessibility features related to this matter.

From the name, the Android 15 Bluetooth LE support capability will enable users with hearing disability to hear their favorite audio on Bluetooth low-energy products.

It will not only offer a clear sound experience but also increase the overall battery life of the hearing aid, making it run for the longest time without any issues.

The next addition to this list could be ‘Auracast’ which is again a Bluetooth feature that provides a brilliant audio experience at times when you share audio with others. Google has also described how Android 15 will add an entirely new experience:

“In Android 15, we will support hearing aids using both LE Audio (LEA) and Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids (ASHA). We’re also adding an easy-to-access Quick Settings Tile for connecting and disconnecting on the go.”

Other features in the accessibility group may also count Live Caption for videos, podcasts, and audio messages. You can easily enable the feature via the volume buttons.
