Amap announced native HarmonyOS app development
Recently, China’s largest navigation service, Amap announced cooperation with Huawei to develop a native mobile application for the HarmonyOS operating system. With this announcement, Amap became the first navigation partner in the industry to adopt the native HarmonyOS app system.
Huawei said it will work with Amap to create a new full scenario user experience to provide better navigation services for users.
Amap is reportedly serving 700 million users with its mobile application. It provides location services, voice navigation, smart route planning, and traffic information.
Aside from this, several other leading internet companies also announced a partnership with Huawei to develop native HarmonyOS applications.
