Alleged Screen protector leak suggests waterfall display for Huawei Mate 40 Pro
Today, a new leak of alleged Huawei Mate 40 Pro screen protector has appeared on Weibo. This new image shows huge curves on both left and right edges of the display, suggesting a waterfall screen similar to the Huawei Mate 30 Pro.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro is the first to feature a 6.53-inch Horizon OLED Display, which curves at an angle of 88-degree and maximizes the display for an edge to edge seamless viewing experience.
With the Huawei P40 series, Huawei brought the new quad curved overflow display. If Huawei actually retains Horizon display for the Mate 40 series, the company must have to make the user experience more handy compared to its predecessor.
With Horizon display Huawei also removed the physical volume keys and introduced a virtual key control system. A recent patent hints that Huawei will bring add more virtual key features in the upcoming flagship.
Reports also revealed that the display refresh rate will upgrade from 60Hz to 90Hz, similar to the P40 series.
We’ll keep you posted.
