Alleged Huawei Band 9 renders reveal familiar design and key specs
Huawei has officially teased the upcoming Band 9 and the device is now emerging in some alleged renders revealing a familiar design and key specifications. The new wearable seems slightly identical to the previous model with upgraded features.
After the company unveiled a small glance at the Huawei Band 9 in the initial teaser, WinFuture x Roland Quandt shared some official-like renders of the respective smartwatch. At the same time, the details hint at the improved specifications.
Huawei Band 9: Design
To begin with, the approaching smart band appears similar to the Band 8 model. It carries a bold and elongated rectangular frame with smooth yet thick edges. There is also a side-mounted button at the left of the Huawei Band 9 wearable.
Ahead, the renders highlight various straps in different colors. Users can pick the band from several options. With the model number KIM-B19 and codename Kimi, the device is said to bring a similar display and battery as its predecessors.
Huawei Band 9: Specifications
Revealing some tips from an official data sheet, the leakers say that the Huawei Band 9 will showcase a 1.47-inch AMOLED screen with a more responsive touchscreen and could sport 368 x 194 pixels resolutions for an enhanced visual experience.
On the other hand, the in-built battery is hearsay to be 180mAh – just like the previous-gen device. The new smart band could possess up to 5 ATM water resistance. It is capable of both Bluetooth and WLAN facilities for better connectivity.
Other changes could show up in the Blue Strap which is likely to bring a textile feel to hands. Moreover, a major shift may appear in the sleep monitoring features with refined tracking capabilities. Though we will get more revealings at the launch.
In terms of pricing, the information claims that the Huawei Band 9 may go on sale for 59 euros in the global market alongside FreeLace Pro 2 in April. However, the availability input is still behind the scenes and we need to wait till the next official announcement on this matter.
