AITO Wenjie M9 to use rock-solid body structure, just like Mate 60 flagship
AITO Wenjie M9 is ready to step on the consumer platform and it looks like the smart car will bring a rock-solid body on the surface – just like the Mate 60. The automobile company has released a bunch of teasers, reflecting that the car is packed with the world’s largest die-casting lightweight body.
As per the details, the AITO Wenjie M9 will be equipped with a Xuanwu body framework, which is the architectural name of the Huawei Mate 60. This implementation aims to provide improved safety and protection to the smart vehicle.
Speaking of the structure, Wenjie M9 equips the industry-leading new D-class luxury SUV technology. The overall aluminum body has a volume of 80%. Besides, the car installs a 2000MPa nuclear submarine-grade hot-formed steel in 12 different spots.
This steel is formed by using the die-casting equipment to obtain the world’s largest one-piece die-cast cover body. Thus, customers will experience excellent safety performance with premium quality. Ahead, the car has 11 protective voids at the sill beams to absorb collision energy more proficiently.
Other details in safety aspects include 9 airbags, 16 safety points, pre-tightened seat belts, and mechanical handles for all four doors. The company has also focused on battery configurations and imposed a five-layer safety package to reduce the risks of short circuits.
On the other hand, Wenjie M9 will use a Huawei Touring smart chassis which is quite efficient and achieves an excellent balance of controllability and comfort. Users will also find smart systems such as Huawei ADS 2.0 for focused driving and to easily deal with road conditions.
