AITO Wenjie M9 specs leaked, to compete with Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover and others

A leaked screenshot has revealed the specs of the upcoming AITO Wenjie M9 SUV. The latest information also hints that this new car will go into competition directly with Mercedes-Benz GLS, Land Rover, and others.

According to the screenshot shared by a blogger from Weibo, AITO began early development of M9 and M5 models together. Also, the carmaker aims performance to match big SUV players including Land Rover and Mercedes Benz.

The car is using HarmonyOS 4.0 operating system, which will officially announce on August 4th. Also, the new software also supports rear-wheel steering (turning radius less than 5.8 meters), and the height is less than 1.85 meters.

Inside the car, you will get a screen for the co-driver seat, and the rear passenger seat will get laser projection. The second and third rows of the seats will equip with removable tracks.

The leaked specs also revealed that the AITO Wenjie M9 could use an 800V platform and is expected to support ultra-fast charging. For now, AITO and Huawei have not made any official announcement on this matter but it could debut later this year.

As previously, Huawei Smart Car CEO, Yu Chengdong predicted that the new Wenjie M9 SUV will not benchmark against the best SUV within 5 million but with a 10 million price tag.
