AITO Wenjie M5 Standard version launched with Huawei DATS tech

Today, AITO launched the standard version of the AITO Wenjie M5 smart car featuring Huawei DATS technology. There are two models including a rear-wheel drive and a four-wheel drive. The price ranges from 249,800 to 269,800 yuan. However, it’s 10,000 yuan cheaper during the pre-order period. It’s also 30,000 yuan cheaper than the smart driving version.

The standard AITO Wenjie M5 version is not equipped with Huawei’s ADS 2.0 flagship smart driving system. Instead, it equips the solution provided by Bosch, but in other respects, it is on par with the smart driving version and has many upgrades compared to the old model.

The headlights have been replaced with a light source with a lens. Compared with the old reflector bowl, it looks more energetic.

More on this, the overall drag coefficient has been optimized, and with a higher thermal efficiency range extender (1.5T engine), the battery life of the vehicle has been further improved. The full fuel and full charge have reached 1455km, and it can drive all the way from Shanghai to Beijing without recharging energy.

The interior of the car has also been upgraded, such as an improved double cup holder design, equipped with dual 40W super wireless fast charging. The seat uses a high-resilience sponge, which doubles the thickness to optimize driving comfort.

The smart dashboard is loaded with HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system with all of its smart features. To be mentioned, the standard AITO M5 version brings an all-aluminum alloy chassis. Customers will also get Huawei’s self-developed Huawei DATS (Dynamic Adaptive Torque System) dynamic adaptive torque system.
