After Huawei, Honor Magic V3 foldable likely to support satellite features
Honor allegedly certified its upcoming Magic V3 foldable on the 3C database with a 66W charger and satellite communication technology. After Huawei, Honor seems ready to launch its first satellite folding device in the Chinese consumer market.
Weibo account @WHYLAB has shared the details of two models spotted on the 3C certification site. Both these phones belong to Honor and support 66W charging.
The device with model number FLC-AN00 is expected to be the Magic V3 standard version whereas, the FCP-AN10 could be the satellite communication variant.
Hence it seems the Honor Magic V3 foldable will support satellite features. This would be the first folding phone on the company’s device shelves that will connect users with their contacts even in low-network areas or without cellular signals.
It is unclear if the Magic V3 supports satellite SMS or a calling facility. Yet the tech giant might remove the mist from this topic in the upcoming weeks.

Among all phone makers, Huawei is the first to introduce a satellite foldable as Mate X5 and continued this trend with Pocket 2. Both these devices power Beidou’s two-way satellite SMS functionality with more stability and efficiency.
It looks like Honor will soon join this batch with the upcoming Magic V3 book-type folding handset. Xiaomi MIX Fold 4 foldable may also enter this pool with Tiantong satellite calling technology and a 5.5G network in the future.
Honor Magic V3 may also adopt a Porsche Design outlook, just like its predecessors. It could use an ultra-light and thin design with advanced hinge technology for a durable user experience. The firm may also reshape the camera bump to its new foldable.
