After a year, Huawei Watch Fit smartwatch gets a new software update

Huawei Watch Fit is an amazing smartwatch and it’s one of the cheapest and most stylish smart wearables you can get for your wrist. However, the watch’s software delivery has been delayed for quite a long but now, Huawei Watch Fit is now receiving the new software update.

According to inputs coming from Huaweiblog, Huawei Watch Fit (first generation) last received a software update by the end of 2021, which marks an entire year in the calendar.

This long delay in the software rollout could be related to the company’s internal strategy but there’s no exact reason available at the moment. Meanwhile, the new update comes with build version 1.0.7.12 and it has 5.30 megabytes of downloadable package size.

The changelog notes that the latest build for this smartwatch brings new optimizations for Bluetooth connection stability, which is important to improve connection stability. On the flip side, this new software will get your Huawei Watch Fit new system stability for better smartwatch performance.

To download this new software upgrade on your Huawei Watch Fit, open the Huawei Health app and select your smartwatch from the on-screen selection. Scroll down and select software update to check for the latest firmware rollout.
