A new EMUI 9.1 with improved camera, fingerprint performance for Huawei P30 series available in more regions

Huawei recently rolled out a new software update with many important improvements for Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro in China.

Now, that update is available in more countries. The update improved camera performance in certain scenarios. Also, it optimizes the in-screen fingerprint reader for faster unlock speed. Additionally, it has a July 2019 security patch to improve system security. The software version is EMUI 9.1.0.185 and size is more than 4GB.

Note: This version is pushed in batches. The EMUI versions and update size may vary depending on the market and models.

If you want to check for the update manually you can do this by following the instruction below:

Go to Settings > System > Software update > Check for Updates. If an update is available, it’ll ask if you want to download it.

If the update does not appear in the settings, we recommend you to request it via HiCare App: Go to HiCare app > tap on Update > click on the Checkbox and hit Apply.
