Huawei HarmonyOS 3.1 AOD fix is coming
Huawei is about to complete the promise by delivering a fix for the HarmonyOS 3.1 always-on-display (AOD) issue on Huawei Mate X3. This new resolution will be released with the next update.
According to the information, this news is confirmed by Huawei Consumer Business Group, Bruce Lee. He said that Huawei Mate X3 could now support of always-on feature for all time, which was missing. He shared the screenshot of the new update changelog and confirmed that this OTA will rollout soon for all of the Huawei Mate X3 users.
The changelog reveals version 3.1.0.161, as today we posted about version 3.1.0.156. So, this will land soon for all of the models. Other than that, he also shared the new feature in the menu.
Speaking of the changes, Huawei Mate X3 has added an Always-on display feature for both internal and external screens. This new capability is coming after a month when a user on Weibo reported the missing feature.
Thereafter, Bruce Lee took note of this AOD issue and promised to release a fix for HarmonyOS 3.1 powered Mate X3. And now, it’s finally here.
