Huawei Mate 50 Pro/RS gets March 2023 security [China]

Huawei is sending a new March 2023 security update for the Chinese units of Huawei Mate 50 / Mate 50 RS and Mate 50E flagship devices. The new upgrade brings security enhancements to the HarmonyOS operating system.

Huawei has released the new software update for Huawei Mate 50 Pro, 50 RS, and 50E with build version 3.0.0.210 and the update package size is big at 1.45GB. The update comes for models – DCO-AL00 and DCO-AL00P for Pro and RS Porsche Design respectively.

Aside from these two models, Huawei Mate 50E is getting the latest HarmonyOS security patch and system stability improvements for better performance.

Meanwhile, Huawei is also enrolling these smartphones along with the standard Mate 50 for a new software upgrade. The new beta possible is HarmonyOS 3.1. Therefore, we can wait for a new software version as soon as it arrives.

Until then, all Huawei Mate 50 series should install the active March 2023 HarmonyOS security as soon as it appears.
