Huawei P60 series to bring IMX858 Ultra Wide Angle camera
Huawei P60 series leaks began to come in a hurry and a new leak has revealed the details of its ultra-wide-angle camera system. According to the inputs coming from Weibo Tipster DigitalChatStation, the Huawei P60 series will use the Sony IMX858 sensor with a 50MP Ultra Wide Angle camera. The tipster mentioned that it’s not a big camera. But there could be some hidden surprises waiting for us around the corner.
The tipster previously revealed that the Huawei P60 series will feature dual Sony IMX789+IMX888 sensors for the main camera. It will be empowered by the new dual aperture technology similar to the Huawei Mate 50 series.
Interestingly, we also got a leak on the P60 series TPU cover, showing the design elements of the camera. According to the case, the Huawei P60 series will have a rectangular P40-like bump with a new camera placement.
In terms of appearance, there is a large ring design in the center-left, a square cutout on the top, and another beneath the ring cutout. It seems that the large cutout will house the main camera and the rest of the two will complement other.
The bump also reflects an LED flash and probably a color sensor. However, a clear picture of the setup is yet to arrive. The cover also exposes some parts of the phone such as the physical keys on the side and the dual stereo speaker.
