WIKO will launch 5G HarmonyOS phone on December 27
WIKO has officially announced to launch of a new HarmonyOS ecosystem phone on December 27. The promo poster reveals that the phone’s outlooks are similar to the Huawei Nova 9 smartphone.
Despite being a third-party device, it’s interesting that WIKO will launch this phone with HarmonyOS software and HarmonyOS mobile applications. Also, this phone will have 5G access, which is different than the 4G variant launched by the Chinese tech maker.
Yesterday, we reported WIKO will clone Huawei Nova 9 SE and launch it under its own umbrella. It has appeared on China’s TENAA certification platform. According to this, the WIKO has replaced Huawei branding on the rear side. While the rest of the phone remains the same as Huawei Nova 9 SE.
The promo image shared on Weibo also confirms that this WIKO phone has a 108-megapixel camera system, which assures that it’s a modified Nova 9 SE. But there are some details added to the rear panel.
The camera is a mix between Huawei Nova 9 and Nova 10 series because it consists of the gold outline from the Nova 10 series around the camera design. On the other hand, it has camera placement and hardware from Huawei Nova 9 SE. Furthermore, the back side of the phone has a substantial change in texture.

It sports a 108 MP High-Resolution Camera (f/1.9 aperture), an 8 MP Ultra Wide Angle Camera (f/2.2 aperture), a 2 MP Depth Camera (f/2.4 aperture), and a 2 MP Macro Camera (f/2.4 aperture). There are various modes to take high-quality photographs.
On the front side, the phone features a 6.78-inch screen with 16.7 million colors, a TFT LCD panel with 90Hz refresh rate, and FHD+ resolution. It also brings a hole punch display with a 16MP front-facing f/2.2 aperture camera.
According to the information, the phone will pack a large battery that could recharge with a 66W super fast charger.
