Huawei P40 Lite gets October 2022 EMUI security update

Huawei has started to rollout October 2022 security update for EMUI 12 powered P40 Lite smartphone in the global market. The update is released in batches and may eventually reach the device in different countries.

On the other hand, Huawei P40 Lite October 2022 security update is seeding with EMUI 12.0.0.246 version. As the name reflects, this firmware improves the phone’s security aspect.

On the other hand, the Nova 7i received a similar package last month to grab one security improvement. EMUI 13 is the next major upgrade and we’ll have to see what Huawei has decided for these phones.
