Huawei is rolling out the first software update for the Mate 50 Pro flagship in the global market that comes with EMUI 13 version 13.0.0.157 and brings a number of new features.

Talking about the changes, the Huawei Mate 50 Pro EMUI 13.0.0.157 update brings a new emergency battery mode, improves network stability, and optimizes the camera performance. This update seems essential as it installs various intriguing features and performance enhancements.

Regarding the battery emergency mode, Huawei initially launched this feature with Mate 50 Pro. It allows you to keep your phone on, even when it’s about to discharge after a 1 percent battery cell. Afterward, you can access certain features a few times, before the phone run out of backup power.

How?

Huawei Mate 50 Pro is still expanding among consumers and the company is launching this phone in different countries. However, it’s already available to purchase in markets such as Poland and a few East Asian countries. That’s how we get to see this update rolling out over the OTA. The new buyers of Mate 50 Pro will be welcomed with such rollout once they check for a brand new firmware update on their flagship.

How to download:

There are two ways you fetch this firmware on your Huawei smartphone, first – visit Settings, from here tap on System & updates and then tap on Software updates to download the latest firmware rollout. However, you can also fetch the new software update via the My Huawei app.

This update doesn’t harm your personal data but we suggest you get a back up of important files to prevent such an occurrence. Moreover, maintain enough internal storage to download and keep that over 1GB of OTA package size.

Furthermore, the software update is rolling out in batches and it may eventually arrive in your Huawei Mate 50 Pro, just keep on checking the update section, if it doesn’t.
