How to setup face mask unlock on Huawei Mate 50 Pro in four steps

Huawei is widely rolling out face mask unlock support for the Mate 50 Pro smartphone in China. This would allow the user to unlock their Mate 50 Pro without removing the face mask, such a feature is useful during payment.

Here you can see four step guide on how to enable face mask unlock on Huawei Mate 50 Pro.

First, you need to open Settings, and from there tap on Biometrics & password.

Second – Press the ‘Face Recognition’ option to enter, the lock screen password and enter your facial id.

Note: You will have to set up the face id if you haven’t done it already.

Third, In the face recognition settings, you will find the option of Recognition with a face mask.

Tap the slider to enable the Face Mask recognition feature with face unlock.
