Face Mask unlock for Huawei Mate 50 Pro rolling out widely
Today, Huawei has officially announced face mask support for face unlock on Mate 50 Pro smartphones. Hence, the users will be able to unlock their Huawei Mate 50 Pro without removing the face mask. According to Huawei, the Face mask support feature for the Mate 50 Pro users required HarmonyOS 3.0 version 3.0.0.156 or above.
Such features are very useful when it comes to the handling of the device and keeps the task handy. However, phone maker such as Apple has already launched the feature for iPhones. However, the latest HarmonyOS version not only brings you face mask support but also improves the camera photography experience.
To enable face mask support, the user needs to visit:
- Settings
- Biometric and Passwords
- Face recognition
- Setup face id (if haven’t, skip if already)
- Setup a face id record with a mask
- Done!
