EMUI
When EMUI 13 will start to rollout for Huawei phones?
The next version of EMUI is underway in development and we’re excitingly waiting for it to arrive. Yup! We’re talking about EMUI 13 and it’s confirmed but when will it actually roll out for Huawei phones? Here we can come up with some helpful info on this matter.
Last October, Huawei launched EMUI 12 for a number of new smartphones at the HUAWEI APAC AUTUMN launch event. The company also shared EMUI 12 rollout plan to upgrade various devices.
Meanwhile, we’ve entered October and Huawei has shown no sign of the EMUI 13 ‘official’ release. Instead, the company has confirmed that Huawei Mate 50 Pro is pre-packed with EMUI 13 and we’ve revealed some of its features.
Reports also suggest that Huawei could launch Mate 50 Pro in Germany by the end of this month as the phone has already been introduced in markets such as Poland along with sales.
In the past years, Huawei revealed new EMUI versions at the Huawei Developer Conference (HDC). However, with the arrival of HarmonyOS 2, Huawei has separated EMUI and HarmonyOS releases. Yet, this year’s HDC is targeted for November 4th.
Since there are 3 months left to close this year, we could expect Huawei to bring new software anytime in the given span. Aside from these, you can install the latest Huawei Beta app and keep an eye on the project section.
EMUI 12 has brought significant changes to the user interface and we quite agree that Huawei has changed the course of smartphone UI with this upgrade. Still, EMUI 13 could improve the features and beautify the user experience with features such as service widgets and more.
So what do you think, which occasion, Huawei will choose to showcase the EMUI 13 roadmap? Is it a new APAC 2022 event, a Mate 50 Germany launch, HDC 2022, or a new product launch? Let us know in the poll below.
