Huawei rolling out EMUI 9.1/Android Pie beta for older devices in China

Huawei has started rolling out EMUI 9.1 (Android Pie) for a number of different Huawei and Honor devices in China under the beta program.

EMUI 9.1 is coming to more smartphones

The list of devices includes Huawei P10, P10 Plus, Nova 2s with EMUI version 9.1.0.186. Huawei Mate 9, Mate 9 Pro, Mate 9 Porsche Design receiving EMUI version 9.1.0.193. Huawei Nova 2s, Honor 9 and Honor V9 receiving version 9.1.0.188.

The same devices are also eligible to get EMUI 9.1 outside of China and may receive different EMUI versions.

The EMUI 9.1 is built on top of Android 9 (Pie) and installs new user-friendly interface, new UI design, new features including GPU Turbo 3.0, AI Assitant, AI Video Editor, Huawei Share, Wireless Projection and more.
