Huawei Mate X2 receiving HarmonyOS 3 new beta upgrade
Huawei is continuously pushing the HarmonyOS 3 beta updates to its smartphones. Now is the time for the most impressive and foldable tablet- Huawei Mate X2 to grab the HarmonyOS 3 new beta update.
As we all know, the release of the HarmonyOS 3.0 stable version is not so far. And, Huawei has picked up the speed of its beta testing program starting with its flagship devices to the mid-rangers. The firm has brought new optimizations for the Huawei Mate X2 device owners with the new beta of HarmonyOS 3 software.
The firmware update carries a build number 3.0.0.115 upgraded from the 3.0.0.111 build number. The company has brought this beta update to enhance the performance of the foldable.

- Huawei Mate X2 (TET-AN00/TET-AN10)
- Huawei Mate X2 (TET-AN50)
- Huawei Mate X2 4G (TET-AL00)
The upgrade adds new optimizations to the previous version of software such as the optimization of the Universal Card function which can be adjusted at will. It makes the desktop more personalized.
With this function, you can quickly edit and view the card by just swiping it up and down, similar sized cards can be combined and assembled in the same holder.
The update has also fixed the issues in the recorder to make it more efficient for the users.
To get the update head on to the Settings menu on your device, then go to the Software & updates section > select Software updates, then click on CHECK FOR UPDATES.
If the update is available then click on Download and install option. Reboot your phone after the installation process.
Here are some points that you need to remember before upgrading:
This update will not erase your data but for safety, purpose back up your important data. Also, a few changes might occur after the installation update like the overheating of the device, or freezing. But need not worry as it will fix in 2-3 days.
Alongside this, if in case you don’t like the changes in the upgraded version then you have an option to roll back to the previous version.
