Huawei Nova 5T finally gets July 2022 EMUI 12 update

Huawei is rolling out a new software update for Nova 5T smartphone that comes with July 2022 security patch. Although the phone runs the latest EMUI 12 software, the update doesn’t have much to explore from what we could see.

Huawei Nova 5T is in the league of elites and Huawei represented this phone as the most advantageous mid-ranger. The Chinese tech maker keeps on delivering new software updates to keep it loaded with new features and optimizations.

In the latest edition, the July 2022 security update for Huawei Nova 5T comes with EMUI 12 version 12.0.0.152. Users won’t have to download such as big data package as the latest firmware only comes with 205 megabytes of download size.

Don’t forget that this update is rolling outing out in batches and your Nova 5T model will eventually hope on with this new software release. On the other hand, you always have the option to go into the settings and try to fetch the latest version without waiting for an OTA update notification.

Open Settings > from here tap on the System & updates > then tap on the Software updates > from here you can follow the on-screen instructions to get the latest software build for your Huawei Nova 5T smartphone.

Huawei Nova 5T has been one of the first devices to upgrade with EMUI 12 upgrade, the latest EMUI version has various new features that reflect the soul of HarmonyOS. It also brings a new performance experience that wasn’t available in EMUI 11.

Huawei Nova 5T:

This stylish phone comes with a 6.26-inch of display with LCD panel type and FHD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels). The phone is powered by Kirin 980 octa-core processor (2 x Cortex-A76 Based 2.6 GHz + 2 x Cortex-A76 Based 1.92 GHz + 4 x Cortex-A55 1.8 GHz). The processor is supported by Mali-G76 720MHz GPU and dual NPUs for better AI task handling.

The phone has a quad camera system consisting of 48 MP (f/1.8 aperture AF) + 16 M (f/2.2 aperture FF) + 2 M (f/2.4 aperture FF) + 2 M (f/2.4 aperture FF), supports autofocus (phase focus, contrast focus). On the front side, it brings a powerful 32MP f/2.0 aperture front-facing sensor.
