HarmonyOS 3.0 will launch on July 27 and Huawei has already been preparing to rollout HarmonyOS 3.0 for the eligible devices. Meanwhile, the first batch of HarmonyOS 3.0 update receiver devices has been leaked and includes a bunch of flagship devices.
Below you can check the first batch of ‘leaked’ HarmonyOS 3.0 devices but we’ve yet to receive an official confirmation on this matter. Also, similar to HarmonyOS 2.0, Huawei is likely to rollout HarmonyOS 3.0 for the below-mentioned devices on July 27.
First Batch HarmonyOS 3 devices:
- Mate X2
- Mate Xs
- Mate 40 RS
- Mate 40 Pro+
- Mate 40 Pro
- Mate 40
- P50 Pro
- P50
- P50 Pocket
- MatePad Pro 12.6-inch 2021
Aside from Mate X2 and Mate Xs, Huawei has started public developer beta testing with these devices including the Huawei P50 series, Mate 40 series, and MatePad Pro tablet. Also, it’s just a list of the first batch of devices and it’s obvious that these models will get the first slot into the HarmonyOS 3.0 upgrade journey as these have also participated in the developer beta test.
Why not Mate Xs 2?
The list above is not final, but we can say that Huawei Mate Xs 2 has been introduced in April this year. The Chinese tech maker is still selling this outward foldable device among Chinese consumers as its new-gen foldable device. In that case, the company may bring a new version packed with pre-installed HarmonyOS 3.0 and rollout stable HarmonyOS 3.0 in the second or third batch of devices.
On the other hand, Huawei could also choose to put this new foldable unit into the first batch. We’ll get to know more on this subject on July 27.
HarmonyOS 3.0:
HarmonyOS 3.0 comes with new improvements for smartphone users, this new operating system version has major optimizations for the Super Device smart collaboration feature. Furthermore, the company has added new tweaks in large folders and increased the overall security of this Huawei software.
