XMAGE: New Huawei mobile camera image technology
Today, Huawei launched new mobile camera image technology – XMAGE. Huawei said this new technology will have to increase the image quality and make the photograph on smartphones clear and colorful.

Huawei XMAGE is an innovative mobile camera technology developed by the Chinese tech maker to give their upcoming flagship smartphone a new imaging touch with the promise of ultra-ideal images to capture your real-time moment with a clear view.
The company mainly concentrated on the three fields which include:

- Shooting experience
- Imaging culture
Currently, there’s no confirmation regarding the smartphone that this technology will come with. But the Mate 50 launch is still pending and Huawei is likely to go with this flagship to feature XMAGE image camera tech. Below you can check the example images of the XMAGE technology.
Ultra Vision Technology:
Huawei launched the Ultra Vision camera with the P40 series. This technology includes triple, Quad, and Penta-camera configurations empowering massive light and clear images.
The Ultra Vision sensor comes with RYYB color mapping with 40% more light intake the comparison to another CMOS sensor. Huawei XD Fusion Engine improvement in picture quality.
True Chroma:
True Chroma image engine pushes for the Huawei P50 Pro flagship smartphone that helps to improve image quality as it embedded P3 color Gamut to their n house Huawei XD optical.
The True Chroma Engine creates very detailed digital photography from the merged image in color. The power of computational photographers to create memories within a single take.
Likewise, we can expect that company can embed this XMAGE imaging camera with the Huawei Mate 50 series. For now, the company has not mentioned anything about featuring this tech on the upcoming flaghip.
