Huawei March 2022 EMUI security update details released

Huawei has released March 2022 EMUI security patch details for smartphones and tablet devices. This is the latest development that is coming from Huawei’s end and will start to push for Huawei devices via OTA update.

The March 2022 EMUI patch details bring fixes to several threats and enable improved system security. Aside from the security features, this update rollout also brings a number of new features as well as new optimizations for the system to help your phone run smoother.

According to the patch details, March 2022 EMUI patch fixes 0 critical, 22 high, 2 medium, and 0 low levels of CVEs. Aside from these, Huawei has also fixed 9 CVEs in the last month’s software update. These fixes will boost your device’s security performance in all possible aspects.

February patch:

Currently, Huawei is rolling out February 2022 EMUI security patches for flagship models. This patch then is loaded on other important devices. The concurrent Huawei devices with the software update are – Mate 40 Pro, Mate 30 Pro, P40 series, and more.

EMUI 12:

Other than security patches, Huawei is expanding the reach of EMUI 12 major software updates for the above-mentioned models as well as Huawei P40 Lite and other important models. However, some of these models are testing EMUI 12 under the beta activity and EMUI 12 rollout for Huawei P30 and Mate 20 series will begin in April. However, we are expecting this release to happen sooner.

To check for the latest software update, you need to tap on Settings, then visit System & updates > from here, you can tap on Software updates > and then you touch CHECK FOR UPDATES. Thereafter, your phone will check for available software updates.
