HarmonyOS 2.0.0.213 update rolling out for Honor 9X series [CN]

Huawei is rolling out HarmonyOS 2.0.0.213 software update for Honor 9X and 9X Pro devices. This update is currently rolling out in China, as the global version runs EMUI software based on Android.

According to the changelog, HarmonyOS 2.0.0.213 software update for Honor 9X and 9X Pro device brings January 2022 security patches for improved system security. On the other hand, this update is expanding among consumers, therefore, a gradual rollout is expected.

1. Honor 9X – HLK-AL00
2. Honor 9X – HLK-Al00a
3. Honor 9X Pro – HLK-AL10

The software update upgrades HarmonyOS 2.0.0.213 from 2.0.0.210.

Currently, Huawei has not confirmed any such news regarding the HarmonyOS 3.0 eligibility for this smartphone but we’ll have to wait for more information on this matter. Related to the phone, Honor 9X global models could receive EMUI 12 software updates that will bring the brand new features for a better user experience.

Software-update:

The latest Honor 9X software update could be downloaded via the following instructions.

First, open the Settings app > then visit System & updates > from here tap on Software updates > Afterwards, let the phone check for available firmware versions, if an update is available, the system will fetch it down for you.
