As recently, Huawei began to recruit new smartphone users to test run the latest HarmonyOS 2.0 features. Still, the recruitment is on and selected models can participate in the entire test program including Huawei Mate 40 Pro, Mate X2, Mate 30 Pro, and more.

There are slots distributed for these testing models and only a limited number of users can participate in the activity. Following approval, selected applicants will receive the HarmonyOS new features software beta update.

At Huawei Developer Conference 2021, Huawei announced that HarmonyOS 3.0 beta testing will start somewhere in the first quarter of 2022. On the other hand, the development roadmap of the software suggests that this would happen in March.
