Huawei P Smart Pro grabbing January 2022 EMUI security update

Huawei is sending a January 2022 software update for the Huawei P Smart Pro smartphone running on EMUI 10.0 software system. The latest EMUI firmware update brings upgraded software versions and improves system security.

According to the Huaweiailesi, Huawei P Smart Pro January 2022 update arrives with EMUI version 10.0.0.496 (C432E6R1P1), and the installation package weighs 196MB. However, this update is rolling batches and may take some time to reach you.

With January 2022 security patch, Huawei fixes different levels of exploits and issues including 4 critical, 12 high, and 47 medium levels of CVEs in the system. Additionally, it also resolves 2 high levels of CVE in third-party libraries.

Speaking about the software, Huawei P Smart Pro has not received the EMUI 11 major software update but users are hoping to get a hand on EMUI 12, which has started to roll out in the global market.
