Redmi Note 8 is receiving Xiaomi MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update

Xiaomi has started pushing an enhanced version of MIUI 12.5 for Redmi Note 8 smartphones in India. Though the update doesn’t appear with new features but brings significant optimizations as well as provides an upliftment to the system and security.

Redmi Note 8 MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update mainly optimizes algorithms, atomized memory, liquid storage, and smart balance for swifter performance and lower power consumption.

Apart from these optimizations, the update also installs the Android patch released in December 2021 to enhance the system security. In addition, it also boosts the functioning of the system and provides a better multiple tasks platform for the users.

Currently, the update is based on Android 11 and it is also eligible for the Android 12 update. Previously, Redmi Note 8 device received an MIUI 12.5 update with a slew of features including new wallpapers, redesigned UI, new sounds, and more.

• Firstly, open your device Settings.
• Then, hit on the About phone option.
