Stable Huawei HarmonyOS 3.0 to launch in July 2022

Stable HarmonyOS 3.0 will launch according to the scheduled roadmap in July 2022. A tipster from Weibo revealed that the company will proceed to unveil this new version by the end of the second quarter. The tipster further revealed that the company will hold mini press conference after March but there’s no confirmation about the products that will unveil at the event.

The arrival of HarmonyOS 3.0 is surely an interesting topic among Huawei smartphone users. As the Chinese tech maker has already achieved a huge number of users that are now using the HarmonyOS operating system for smartphone devices.

These consumers are eagerly waiting for the next major upgrade and HarmonyOS 3.0 is surely what they are waiting for. On the other hand, global users might also get to taste this Huawei software in 2022.

HarmonyOS 3.0 Developer Preview:

At Huawei Developer Conference (HDC 2021), the company released HarmonyOS 3.0 and launched the first developer preview. HarmonyOS 3.0 mainly includes four sub-solution modules – ArkUI 3.0 (Ark Development Framework), ArkCompiler 3.0 (Ark Compiler), DevEco Studio 3.0, and API 7.

Recently, a report confirmed that the developer preview 2 will launch soon for the developer and it’ll make a way for the roadmap to unveil the public version of this software.

Currently, Huawei has not confirmed any official dates of HarmonyOS 3.0 for smartphones but we could expect HM OS 3.0 to come first in a flagship device, followed by a rollout plan.

HarmonyOS 2.0:

At HDC 2020, Huawei unveiled the 2.0 version of HarmonyOS that comes with various platform support including smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, in-car systems as well as other third-party IoT devices such as home appliances and electronics.

By the end of December, HarmonyOS 2.0 achieved 220 million installations on smart devices that include the devices from the Huawei ecosystem. On the other hand, over 100 million devices are coming from Huawei’s third-party hardware and industry partners. By combing all together, the Chinese company has surpassed over 300 million active HarmonyOS devices.
