Average TWS wireless headphone price to drop by 19 percent: Report

TWS wireless headphones are pretty popular, they are portable, provide maximum convenience and fit perfectly in the ears. Therefore, most people nowadays prefer to choose a TWS rather than wired earphones.

According to market research – StrategyAnalystics, Huawei that the average wholesale price of TWS headsets in 2021 will show a clear downward trend. It is expected that the average wholesale price of TWS headsets this year will drop by 19% year on year, while revenue will surge 54% year on year.

The report also reveals that among the 15 major markets in the world, the Chinese market remains the leader in sales of TWS headsets, while the US market takes the lead in sales.

Furthermore, the TWS headsets are True Wireless Stereo headsets. Strategy Analytics pointed out in the report that TWS headsets stand out from the competition with traditional Bluetooth headsets by adding advanced features that were previously only available in high-end headsets.

However, there’s more that we could assume on this matter. In May of this year, Strategy Analytics predicted that TWS headsets will account for 70% of all Bluetooth headset sales in 2021. It is also claimed that more than 30% of TWS earphones sold in 2021 are waterproof and 4% of TWS earphones sold in 2021 are equipped with a heart rate monitor.
