DC Dimming feature soon coming to P30 and P30 Pro along with a new EMUI 9.1 version

Huawei P30 series has recently received a new EMUI update that installed a number of new features to these devices and now another update has been spotted that’ll bring new important display improvements.

A new EMUI update for P30 and P30 Pro optimizes camera, call, in-screen fingerprint, security and more

The update brings a number of features and improvements including the DC Dimming feature, allowing users to prevent screen flickering effect that commonly occurred during low brightness level.



The screenshot of this update has been uploaded by a well known digital blogger on Weibo and the version is yet to be pushed officially but it is expected to roll out next month.

The update for Huawei P30 and P30 pro will come with EMUI version 9.1.0.163D (C735E163R1P11) and weighs at 400MB.

Fingerprint: Optimize fingerprint unlocking performance.

Display: Repair screen sometimes displays color abnormality problem.

Setting: Add screen anti-stroke switch, which can effectively prevent screen flicker.
