Using different combinations of solid color backgrounds and available emojis, WhatsApp users on Android can create multiple icons. This drawing tool can be used in a situation when a user can’t decide a profile image or need a momentary group.

The image is identical to what we saw for iOS. Combing different background shades and icons users can create a group profile icon. It’s really fun to set an image like this because if we want any icon image we have to search it on the web, then download it, afterward we are able to set it.

Furthermore, we don’t have to waste our time in finding profile images for some irregular groups that’ll we abandon after a time. WhatsApp is enriching its feature covering every single possibility and scenario to bring more operation convenience.

According to the data, the WhatsApp group icon editor isn’t ready for Android users yet, there are still some measurements left to be done. But the WhatsApp Android beta 2.21.20.2 update confirms that it’ll soon rollout for the users.

Besides, the WhatsApp beta for iOS 2.21.190.11 has already enabled this feature for beta testers. However, only limited users are able to use it. If you are on the same version, can check this feature by flowing the below-mentioned steps.

  • Open your WhatsApp account on your device
  • Tap on the group to info and access the edit
  • If you saw a new option- “Emoji & Sticker”, it has been enabled on your device
  • In case you don’t see any, wait for the next update
