Huawei aims 300 million HarmonyOS installations this year, launching new products
On September 13, Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO – Yu Chengdong announced 100 million HarmonyOS installations. This is quite a big achievement for the company and for this new operating system, that symbolizes its ongoing craze among consumers.
As mentioned before, this journey is just started and Huawei seemingly believes the same way. Therefore, the Chinese tech maker is preparing to install HarmonyOS 2.0 in more devices.
The 100 million mark came after three month of launch and Huawei was looking to feed HarmonyOS in 200 million devices by the end of this year. However, the company has changed this internal plan and has now raised the bar of its epectations.
According to information coming from well known tipster – DigitalChatStation, Huawei is developing new HarmonyOS devices and the internal upgrade aim is now increased to 300 million devices by this year.
With the current upgrade speed and the rollout procedure, we don’t think that the company would take next three months to add 200 million upgrades and take HarmonyOS to 300 million devices.
HarmonyOS:
HarmonyOS comes with new technologies and desgined to work in the era of internet of every thing. This new operating system is based on micro-kernel technolgies and has distirbuted capabilities.
For smartphones, the HarmonyOS 2.0 comes with brand new user interface including the control panel with various options, the new super device to manage all of your connected smart device and the service widgets that makes your app information viewing expeince simpler than ever.
On the other hand, there are subtle changes that have been made throughout the system that enahces the user experience and allows you to enjoy this software more than last gen EMUI.
Still Not for Global Consumers:
We cannot conclude this conversation without mentioning the global users, they have various Huawei devices and users still loves them. Therefore, we expect Huawei to findd a solution for the global HarmonyOS rollout and send it to the consumers that are eagerly waiting to install it.
