Huawei has a new emergency calling feature with intelligent number selection
At the beginning of 2020, Huawei has developed a method and electronic device for emergency calls and filled the patent registration to secure this innovation. This method aims to quickly help the users in emergency situations.
According to the China Intellectual Property database, this patent was published on July 23, 2021, with announcement number CN113163052A in China.

When the mobile phone is in a locked state, the first operation of the user is detected on the display screen. In response to the first operation, the phone displays the emergency call interface through the display screen.
The emergency call includes one or more emergency call numbers and after the first preset time period expires. It automatically makes a call to the first emergency number, and the one or more emergency numbers include the first emergency call number.
After the first preset time period expires, if the mobile phone does not detect the user’s operation on the display screen, it will automatically alert after the call is disconnected between the mobile phone and the alarm station.
The smartphone displays a lock screen interface through the display screen. The realization of the present application helps a user to quickly initiate an emergency call in an emergency situation.
