HarmonyOS 2 public beta opens for Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5i Pro and Nova 5Z devices

Huawei today announced to open HarmonyOS 2 public beta recruitment of Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5i Pro, and Nova 5Z devices. Following this announcement, these devices owners in China will be able to upgrade to HarmonyOS 2 operating system directly and without participating in the beta activity.

According to the information, the Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5i Pro, and Nova 5Z with EMUI 10.1 can upgrade to HarmonyOS 2 version 2.0.0.135. To be mentioned this patch is already available for HarmonyOS 2 closed beta testers.

The last HarmonyOS 2 closed beta update for the Huawei Nova 5, Nova 5i Pro, and Nova 5Z comes with optimizations for Service Widget, improves the calendar interface as well as the sound experience of Bluetooth headsets.
