HarmonyOS 2 closed beta sign up for 12 Honor devices begins, will upgrade from Magic UI and EMUI
Today, Huawei has officially opened HarmonyOS 2 closed beta recruitment for Honor devices, including Honor 20, Honor 30, Honor V30, Honor V20 and more. The selected devices are now eligible to enroll themselves for the beta testing. Following the successful enrollment, Huawei will release the HarmonyOS 2 beta build through an OTA update.
Furthermore, all of these devices were launched before the partition of both firms and runs Magic UI 4, EMUI 11, and Magic UI 3.1 software systems.
According to the information, HarmonyOS 2 brings a number of new changes in the user interface along with a different user experience across different devices powered by the new distributed capabilities.

According to the official rollout plan, HarmonyOS was scheduled to rollout for Honor phones in the fourth quarter of this year. However, the company has made an early surprise for the consumers, increasing the possibility for a fast global adaptation.

Testing slots: 2000 recruits for each product, see the table below for details
Recruitment time: June 23, 2021 – June 29, 2021, at 10:00 (China time)
Announcement of selected testers: Only the list of users selected in 2000 will be announced (users other than 2000 will not be announced). Selected testers will be announced via SMS or Push Notifications.
Version rollout time: See the follow-up official notice (if you fill in the registration information incorrectly or are not on the baseline version that supports upgrade, you will not receive the push)
