Huawei setting up a Digital Energy company with a worth of 3 billion yuan (468 million USD)

According to the latest information, The Chinese OEM has registered a new company, Huawei Digital Energy Technology Co. Ltd. on June 07, 2021. It is built with a registered capital of RMB 3 billion (468 million USD) and placed Hu Houkun, Deputy Chairman and Rotating Chairman of Huawei as its legal representative.

The company’s equity penetration shows that it is 100% controlled by Huawei. The scope of this new industry includes:

Online energy measurement technology research and development

Research and development of new energy technologies

Energy recovery system research and development

Electromechanical coupling system development

Charging pile sales

New energy facilities for electric car sales.
