Huawei AX2 Pro wireless router with WiFi 6 Plus on pre-sale, starting at 32 USD
On May 19, Huawei held the All Scenario Smart Life Product Launch Conference in China. At the event, the company introduced a bunch of next-generation products including the new MateView monitors Huawei MateBook 16, Children’s Watch 4X, Body Fat Scale 3 Pro, and FreeBuds 4.
In the meantime, Huawei Router AX2 Pro has been spotted on the company’s flagship e-commerce store JD.com. The company has begun to take pre-sale orders for AX2 Pro, which is priced at 229 Yuan (about 35 USD) while the starting price is 209 Yuan (about 32 USD).
This new AX2 Pro hasn’t changed much and has a similar design as the previous AX3 series except the logo has been replaced as “Wi-Fi 6 Plus” at the upper right corner. It’s available in two color options: Black and White.
The router also supports the dual-band concurrent rate of 1500Mbps, of which 2.4GHz is 300Mbps, and the 5GHz frequency band is 1201Mbps. It comes with a Gigabit Ethernet port, which provides 1 WAN port and 3 LAN interfaces.
As far as the performance is concerned, it’s greatly improved to support both wired and wireless Mesh networking and features a built-in mobile game acceleration function. It’ll automatically access the high-priority channel in the game state to reduces delay.
Furthermore, you can control the online behavior of sub-units using the App. It supports Huawei HomSec security protection functions, camera anti-peeping technology, anti-scratch network, and brute force cracking functions for security purposes.
As of now, this router is currently open for pre-sale on the online store. You have to deposit 30 Yuan first, which later used as 50 Yuan and the company will start shipping this product from June 1st, 2021.
