Huawei MediaPad T5 getting smart charging mode with latest EMUI update

Recently, Huawei has started sending a firmware update for tablet – Huawei MediaPad T5 running on EMUI 8. This update comes with a smart charging mode for the system. However, this update doesn’t bring any changes and additional features as well as a security patch.

The Smart Charging Mode, which extends the battery life by adapting to your charging habits through AI learning and preventing continuing the charging process after the battery is fully charged.

Huawei MediaPad T5 users can check the latest EMUI version and changelog below.

Note:

• The update is rolling out in batches so it may take some time/days to reach your device.
  EMUI version and size may vary.
• Maintain enough battery and storage on your device.

EMUI Version:

• Huawei MediaPad T5 receiving EMUI 8 version 8.0.0.360 with an update size of 164MB.

Changelog:

• Added Smart charging mode for extended battery life

Via Settings:

Open Settings
Click on ‘System’
Click on ‘Software update’
Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
Click on ‘Download and install’

Via Support:

Open Support app
Click on the ‘Services’ tab
Click on ‘Update’
Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
Click on ‘Download and install’
