Huawei MatePad 2/MatePad Pro 2 first sale could start from June 10 alongside Watch 3 series

The MatePad tablet series is a big jump for Huawei from the MediaPad lineup, In the past year, the company has already added a number of new members under the MatePad brand and soon new models, as MatePad 2/MatePad Pro 2 will also join this league.

According to the latest information coming from Weibo tipster, Pictures Fan revealed that Huawei MatePad 2 series tablets along with Huawei Watch 3/3 Pro smartwatches and other smart products will unveil on June 2.

The tipster reveals, Huawei MatePad Pro 2 tablet is internally named “Wagner” and MatePad 2 has the “Marx 2” code name. It is like the first generation, the MatePad tablet had a codename “Marx”.

Additionally, Huawei has the Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro in the storeroom, ready to launch with new features and all of these products will pre-equip the HarmonyOS software system.

Furthermore, the tipsters confirmed that Huawei MatePad 2 and MatPad Pro 2 will pre-sale on June 2 (day of launch) and will be sold for the first time on June 10. However, more information is required on this matter.

The previous report showed us that Huawei MatePad Pro 2 with the WGR-AN19 model was earlier spotted on the TENAA listing and also passed China’s 3C certificate.

According to the information, the MatePad Pro 2 will launch on June 2 in China. It will come with two display size variants (12.2 and 12.6-inch), powered by Kirin 9000 processor, pre-packed with HarmonyOS, 120Hz refresh rate, 40W charging, as well as other new smart features.

To be mentioned, the Huawei MatePad Pro 2 with model number WGR-W09 has passed the SIRIM Malaysia certification. It means that Huawei planning to release this premium tablet in the global market outside of the home ground.
