Huawei to launch 3 new cheap foldable phones this year: Report

Back in February, Huawei launched its brand new foldable phone, Huawei Mate X2 that comes with the latest foldable phone mechanism and design that surpasses its predecessor.

According to the design the, Huawei Mate X2 comes with two display systems including a foldable panel that folds inwards compared to the Huawei Mate X and Xs’ outward design. It’s powered by the 5nm Kirin 9000 processor and comes with the latest software features.

Similar to other foldable phones available in the market, Huawei Mate X2 comes with a whopping price of 17999 yuan ($2782) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM variant.

New Cheap Foldable phones:

Now, according to the latest information coming from Digitimes, some internal sources revealed that Huawei is planning to launch a series of three new foldable smartphones by the second half of 2021.

It was also expected that this time Huawei’s smartphone will come with a reduced price. The exacted amount isn’t clear yet but it’s said that these upcoming devices will aim at the entry-level smartphone market to boost sales.

Huawei Mate X2:

Last week, Huawei launch the new variants of Huawei Mate X2, Mate 40, Nova 8, and Nova 8 Pro smartphones, which don’t include charging heads in the box.

In order to maintain the balance, the company reduced the price by 200 Yuan, which is equivalent to about 30 USD.(Read More)
