Honor 9X caught running HarmonyOS mobile developer beta, which is really surprising

To get the answer to these questions, the user has to wait a little more. Today, a well-known Weibo tipster – Changan Digital King shared a screenshot of the Honor 9X device. And the users may be shocked after knowing that this device caught running on HarmonyOS mobile developer beta, which is really surprising.

According to the screenshot shared by the tipster, the device has the HarmonyOS Developer Beta build with version 2.0.0.46, which is the latest developer beta update. Also, the device is powered by Kirin 810 processor, so it’s worth noting that the company is preparing the HarmonyOS all the way to the Kirin 810 platform, which makes us super excited.

Coming to Honor 9X, this smartphone initially packs with EMUI 9.1 and further received EMUI 10.0 and 10.1 major software upgrades in the Chinese market. While the global users are still on EMUI 10. Talking about the EMUI 11 for this device is not applicable here, which is very depressing for 9X users.

On the other hand, it was reported that Honor 9X will not be upgraded to EMUI 11 but will be directly upgraded to HarmonyOS company’s own developed operating system later this year. Since then, no official confirmation surfaced regarding this.

But, the above tipster’s information is really surprising and it confirms that the Honor 9X smartphone will definitely and directly upgraded to HarmonyOS. Just like this device, there are more devices that are part of this testing, which are hidden at the time.
