Huawei to launch Kirin 820E processor with a new version of Nova 7 SE smartphone
Last year Huawei unveiled its Nova 7 series device including the Huawei Nova 7 SE. After the unveiling, the company relaunched this phone with a MediaTek processor instead of the Kirin 820 5G chipset and soon, it’ll get another chipset variant.
According to the information coming from Weibo tipster – DigitalChatStation, Huawei will soon launch Huawei Nova 7 SE Lohas Edition. The main change in this phone includes a new logo design on the rear and the Kirin 820E chipset. However, the design is likely to remain the same as the existing model.
Talking about the chipset, the Kirin 820 processor is processed with 7nm technology, supports 5G connectivity, and has an Octacore CPU structure consisting of 1 x Cortex-A76 [email protected] + 3 x Cortex-A76 [email protected] + 4 x [email protected].
The chipset also has a 6-core Mali-G57 GPU, Kirin Gaming+ 2.0 as well as Da Vinci NPU cores for better AI processing. However, the chipset suggests that the upcoming Kirin 820E will be a downgraded version of Kirin 820.
The Nova 7 SE 5G Lohas Edition sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ display (2400 x 1080p resolution) with a hole-punch design to house a 16MP selfie shooter. There is a camera setup on the back, powered by a Kirin 820E processor, 4000mAh battery supports for 40W fast charging. The phone is 8.58mm thick and weighs 187g.
The Quad camera setup consists of a 64 MP (high-resolution camera, f/1.8 aperture) + 8 MP (ultra wide-angle camera, f/2.4 aperture) + 2 MP (depth camera, f/2.4 aperture) + 2 MP (macro camera, aperture f/2.4). From the software side, the Nova 7 SE come with pre-installed EMUI 10.1.1 and
